Happy Kappi Episode 25 is the last episode

We just got the transport stream for this episode a few minutes ago (which is why we aren't releasing the episode tonight, as it is very late), and it appears that it is the last episode.

We should have episode 25 out sometime late Wednesday.

EDIT: The Fall 2011 series we were planning to do has been licensed by Crunchyroll.  Therefore, with the end of Happy Kappi, we will use the slot Happy Kappi occupied to throw more translation resources into finishing either Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch Pure or Pollyanna.

  5. We were planning to work on Chihayafuru, and I already had made plans to translate it the night after I got the last episode of Happy Kappi taken care of.

However, Crunchyroll announced that they had the simulcast rights to that about 4 hours before airing time.

Therefore, as Tuesday is typically the time when I work on translating Happy Kappi, I'll instead finish up translating Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch Pure (I'm 9 episodes from finishing that one, which is what I typically do on Mondays), or finish up translating Pollyanna so I can have that sent to my timer.

  6. Chihayafuru won the 2nd Manga Taisho Award. Winner of the 35th annual Kodansha Manga Award for Best Shoujo.

It looked like a promising series. Too bad :(

  7. You guys should sub Chibi Devi, which starts tomorrow. No one has announced to be subbing it, and it seems to fit the bill of the kind of show you guys do :) I've read the available manga chapters, and it's very cute~

  8. I second the Chibi Devil suggestion! From what I've seen, it seems like a nice replacement for Happy Kappi, if you were looking for a new project. No one seems to be working on it, either.
