Little Women II - Jo's Boys Episode 40 released!




In the last episode, Dan finally leaves Plumfield with Mr. Page.  Life goes on for the rest of the residents of Plumfield, until it is time for them to leave as well.

This concludes our work for Little Women II - Jo's Boys.  As per my usual custom, I would like to make some concluding remarks.

This series is actually one of our shorter projects, and yet it was a long and difficult journey for us to finish it.  I would personally like to thank my translator for this series, who has basically worked to get all the episodes to me in a timely fashion.  Something that is as simple as a story for children are often the most difficult series to get right, and it was a pleasure for us to bring this story to life.

We would like to thank you all for supporting us throughout this project, even when we were having trouble moving forward with it.  We would like to apologize for all the delays this project incurred as a result.

We will have a batch torrent available later this week after I do some version 2 encodes.  I do know for sure that episodes 1 and 38 will have version 2 encodes due to consistency issues.

    Great work Licca, I will certainly watch this one day along with every other WMT anime. Already know the quality of these subtitles will be impressive. Thanks a lot, hope you can keep having fun with fansubbing for as long as possible.

    My favorite anime of all time. I give it a 10 fold rate. Inspires, touches and moves kids and adults. Because of this animation I've grown up as an adult with an awesome childhood :) Thanks for the upload!

    Thank you so much for finishing this. While I would also love to see the first one, I know it is probably still licensed, so wouldn't be taken on by you. At least I do have a dub of that one. Hoping to see Lucy get going again....

      Yes, it was released in North America, although the video quality wasn't great. There was also a project in the works to mix the audio into DVD quality video, but it was never fully finished and I believe is now abandoned. Work in progress versions were available for awhile last year (if you knew where to look), but have since been taken down. The dub isn't that great. I'm still hoping for a sub, but it won't be Licca due to the licensing situation. Maybe Silver Zero will pick it up one day, but I think they've already said their next project is Tom Sawyer.

    Tears of joy T_T ..how i wish there's a reunion of all of them..Also, I liked the way that they didn't show Mrs. Jo's face in the end, hearing her voice would tell you that deep inside, she did not age. Thanks Licca and the whole team! I wish to see the first one too.
