For all of you wanting us to do a World Masterpiece Theater series, your wish has been granted.
This episode corresponds to the first half or so of Chapter 1 of "A Little Princess".
You can obtain this episode from your standard anime torrent indexing sites.
Note: The h.264 version encode is hardsubbed.
Yay I can't wait till you get up to ep12+ since I've only seen the DVD Vol1 & 2 from the Frenchies-Subs tracker.
ReplyDeletekeep up the good work ^.^
Infinte Thanks for subbing this majestic WMT! That was my #1 choice in your 5 possible project! I love your devotion to keep the flame of true old school anime alive! Long live Licca Fansubs!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot!!
ReplyDelete...but why is the h264 encode hardsubbed? :(
Thanks again! I am beyond thrilled! And to the above, the reason may be, so no one can rip off the subs.
ReplyDeleteWhat's the source of the raw? DVD-rips or ISO? If it's not iso, you should get them from Minor Ja Nai unless you have them, of course. :D
ReplyDeleteI'm relieved someone else picked this up. Now I don't have to worry about doing this even though I was requested.
Disappointed the h264 mkv is hardsubbed. Pointless to do that, you might as well just encode it h264 avi like [Zorori-Project] and [SRN]. It's retarded considering the size of the XviD and h264 are about the same.
Well, best of luck finishing this forgotten project.
Best Regards.

ray=out subs
Excellent pick! I'm looking forward to your releases :) .
ReplyDeleteAwesome news!
ReplyDeleteHope you end the project.
YAAAAAAAY!!! PRINCESS SARA!!! Thank you sooooo much!! You don't know how happy I am to see this!
ReplyDeleteYou've just officialy made my day/week/month/year/whatever :D Thank you sooo much for picking this up and good luck with finishing the project!
ReplyDeleteHardsubbed h264 that's bigger than the xvid, oh wow.
ReplyDeleteWow, best news I've heard all year! Great to see this wonderful vestige picked up; brings back a lot of memories!
ReplyDeleteAlso, don't pay attention to what that "alchie" guy said about the file format. Of course it should be in .h264 mkv, regardless of whether it's hardsubbed or not - that's your choice; do not encode it as an avi as he says, as THAT would be retarded. avi and h264 do not mix, fool.
@merlin, do you even understand the purpose of mkv? It's to hold audio, video and subtitle tracks as SEPARATE files within one single entity. If you hard sub all of it, it's meaningless and based on opinions of some of the best encoders in the fansub scene you will get visible inferior quality than doing hardsubs in any container (TM).
ReplyDeletePersonally, I'm not saying or promoting the use of h264 avi, as I also know they don't mix (well - forgot to mention DB too), but just stating it's pointless putting it in mkv if your not using it for the purpose. I would, however, suggest using mp4 or other formats if you want to use h264. And looking at all the previous releases, I doubt it's about the encoders' preference/style.
Excellent choice! I've already watched this show but now I'll be able to educate my linguistically handicapped friends with one of the finest anime of the 80's. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteFor your next project I hope you'll consider Alps No Shoujo Heidi or Minami No Niji No Lucy :)
Man, are you really going to sub this entire series? I loved the book, and I was really curious on how the anime is. If so, then I will worship you guys.
