In this episode, Dani finds out the lie that was being perpetuated on him.  Annette's worst fears are realized as a result.

Idol Densetsu Eriko Episode 3 released!

In this episode, Eriko sings at the Marine Live Stage in order to calm down the crowds that were locked inside.  Unfortunately, her uncle sees it as a way to exploit her to make him a lot of money.

My Annette Episode 22 released!

In this episode, Dani finds the Noah's Ark that Annette threw into the woodpile.  He does not know that Annette threw it in there, so when he tells Annette, she has a dilemma to face.

Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch Pure Episode 16 released!

In this episode, Lucia, Hanon, Rina, Coco, Noelle, and Karen run a small restaurant that is facing competition from a nearby resort club.  This particular restaurant has a special meaning for Lucia, which hurts her badly when Coco, Noelle, and Karen decided to goof off instead of trying to draw in guests.

Due to some personal issues, I have not been able to devote time to fansubbing work for the last few days.  I would like to personally apologize for the inconvenience.

Lucy-May of the Southern Rainbow Episode 3 and 1v2 released!

In this episode, Mr. Pettywell's dog causes no small amount of trouble for the family when it snatches a piece of fresh meat, which causes a huge commotion in the camp.

We have also released a version 2 of episode 1.  This version rewords some of the dialogue to fix some issues.

The Glass Rabbit v2 released!

We are releasing a version 2 of The Glass Rabbit.  This encode addresses an issue found by folks on BakaBT.

As the encodes are taking a bit longer than normal, we'll get the releases out as soon as possible.  The Hi10P version is ready, and the h.264 version shouldn't be too far behind; I am having trouble with the XviD encode and will get that done by tomorrow.

Tonde Buurin Episode 4 released!

In this episode, we see what happens when Karin runs into someone who is dressed like Buurin and wants to be a pro wrestler.

Idol Densetsu Eriko Episode 2 and 1v2 released!

In this episode, Eriko's uncle begins to put his plan in motion to take over the production company and make Eriko's life miserable.  On top of that, something goes wrong during the opening of the Marine Live Stage.

We have also released a version 2 of episode 1.  This version tweaks some of the typesetting to improve the visibility of certain signs.

My Annette Episode 20 released!

"It's for Dani", he whispered hoarsely.  Then his words stuck in his throat, and he stood waiting with his eyes fixed on the ground.

Annette took the Noah's Ark from him, her face white with fury.

"You dare come here!" she burst out at last.  "You dare offer presents to Dani! Go away and don't you ever come here again!"

And as she said it she flung the Noah's Ark with all the strength of her young arm into the woodpile below.  All the little animals lay scattered on the logs.

In this episode, Lucien finishes the Noah's Ark that he was going to give to Dani.  However, Annette has something else in mind for anything that Lucien wants to give to Dani.

Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch Pure Episode 15 released!

In this episode, Lucia, Hanon, and Rina go to investigate abnormally warm water temperatures in the Antarctic.  However, what they find is an insidious plot of Mikeru, led by Sheshe and Mimi, which required the powers of all the Mermaid Princesses to defeat.

As a note, starting from this episode, we will also be using softsubs for the 10-bit h.264 release.  The 8-bit h.264 and the XviD version will still be hardsubbed.

Tonde Buurin Episode 3 released!

In this episode, Karin and Masami get into a tennis match versus Keiko and her cohort due to a "misunderstanding" when the school's playboy tried to perform his version of first aid on Karin.

My Annette Episode 19 released!

In this episode, Lucien visits the old man who lives in the forest.  It turns out that he does woodworking for a living.  In the meantime, Dani finally gets used to walking on crutches, since during the next visit to the hospital, the entire Burnier family is the recipient of bad news regarding Dani's leg.

My Annette Episode 18 released!

Now, high up on the borders of the forest there stood a small chalet where a very old man lived by himself.   He retired there long ago and he lived alone with his goat, his hens, and his cat.  He was a queer old man.  Everyone in the village was afraid of him, and when he came down on occasions to shop, the children ran indoors.  They called him the old man of the mountain.  Some said he was a miser, some said he was hiding from the police, and others said he was crazy and malicious.  No one had ever been inside his home, and no one passed that way after dark.

In this episode, Dani begins walking on crutches.  Annette could not even tolerate seeing Lucien to the point where they would not want to go to a school picnic.  However, due to the teacher's influence, they ended up going, and for a brief moment there was a spark of their friendship.

Just as the village did all they could to comfort Dani, even so they shunned Lucien, and did all they could to show their contempt for him.

In this episode, Lucien goes back to school.  However, Annette has already told her side of the story of what happened to Dani, which makes pretty much the entire class prejudiced to Lucien.  As a result, Lucien goes up into the forest, where he runs into the old man who lives there.  Later, Annette does something to hurt both Lucien and Dani.

Expectations for Idol Densetsu Eriko

Idol Densetsu Eriko is another one of those series that has been frequently requested, and it's one of the hidden gems of anime that almost no one knows about.  I had the DVDs imported quite a while back in case we did get the chance to do it, and the opportunity finally came to fruition.  This series is one of the predecessors to modern idol anime today.

We will be jointing with KiteSeekers Fansubs for this project.  We will be supplying translation checking and encoding, plus any other assistance that may be required.  The translator for this project has already done the translations up to episode 6, so we expect releases to happen with some regularity.

We hope you all enjoy this journey as Eriko becomes a singer herself as a result of what happens to her after the accident with her parents. 

Tonde Buurin Episode 2 released!

In this episode, St. Ringo's soccer team is headed to the district finals.  However, the opposing team is determined to win at all costs, which in this case means cheating.  Of course, Buurin was not going to allow them to do that....

Idol Densetsu Eriko Episode 1 released! (Joint with KiteSeekers)

Our new project will be Idol Densetsu Eriko, which will be done as a joint with KiteSeekers Fansubs.
 

In this episode, we begin the story of Eriko Tamura, who was the daughter of the president of a music production company.  She lived a happy life until something tragic happens to her family.
