Idol Densetsu Eriko 31 and 32 released!

These two episodes are the first in a series of episodes that involve Eriko's last minute addition to the group that would be participating in Mr. Howard's Rock'on'Roots audition.  The first part of his audition involves nearly 9 hours of dancing, for a supposedly sadistic reason.

Idol Densetsu Eriko 30 released!

In this episode, Eriko is playing a policewoman on a TV show.  However, she is being shadowed by an American producer who is very interested in her.

Idol Densetsu Eriko 26 released!

This episode begins a fairly long story arc that won't finish until almost episode 40 or so.  In this episode, Rei finds out that all is not what it seems when it comes to who is her family and who isn't.

This marks the half-way point of the series.  The next quarter of the series will be pretty much covering this story arc which will reveal Rei's parentage and who her family truly is.  In addition, there will be a mini-arc coming up involving Rei, Eriko, and probably one of the stranger auditions that they will have to face.  The end of that story arc will correspond almost to the end of the main story arc here.

In this episode, Eriko and Rei are filming a shampoo commercial.

Idol Densetsu Eriko 24 released!

In this episode, Eriko debuts a new song.  However, she ends up having to deal with coming down with an illness right before the concert.

This episode is the first episode of what I think is my favorite Tamura Eriko song in the entire series, "Honki".

Idol Densetsu Eriko Episode 23 released!

In this episode, Eriko has to somehow get to a concert around a huge traffic jam.  Kazuki calls Yasuko, who arrives on her bike and proceeds to do some rather creative lane-splitting and off-road riding, which topped off with Eriko getting into a helicopter and arriving onto the stage in what is probably her most dramatic entrance until the last episode.

Idol Densetsu Eriko Episode 21 released!

In this episode, Eriko takes a well-deserved vacation in Karuizawa, where she runs into Asami and Shougo.

Idol Densetsu Eriko Episode 20 released!

In this episode, Kousuke cancelled Eriko's performance on stage in a fit of rage.  However, Eriko saw the stage on the top of the Marine Live Stage, and gave a performance just for her mother, almost reminiscent of her performance in episode 3.

Idol Densetsu Eriko Episode 19 released!

In this episode, Eriko's mother has been released from the hospital.  Kousuke gets nervous about this very quickly and begins to act irrationally.

(3rd Birthday Celebration) Idol Densetsu Eriko 18 released!

In this episode, Eriko landed a television gig, but as part of the gig, she would have to swim in a swimming contest.  As she is unable to swim, she gets help from her friend Yasuko in order to learn how to swim.

Idol Densetsu Eriko Episode 17 released!

In this episode, Eriko's mother wakes up from her coma, but has amnesia, which means that Eriko's troubles are far from over yet.

Idol Densetsu Eriko 16 released!

In this episode, Eriko has her first TV gig in quite a while.  While at location, she meets this charismatic fellow doing performances on the street.

Idol Densetsu Eriko Episode 15 released!

In this episode, Eriko gets a singing gig at a corporate party.  This might have been her most difficult gig yet, as she has to sing without any accompaniment due to technical difficulties.

Idol Densetsu Eriko Episode 1 (BD version) released!

We have finally gotten the Idol Densetsu Eriko Blu-Rays, and that means we can now use them as our source.  We will be redoing all the previous episodes with the new raws while concurrently proceeding on with the episodes that we have not released.

There are three different encodes: a 1080p 10-bit h.264 encode, a 720p 8-bit h.264 encode, and a 480p XviD encode.  Both h.264 encodes are softsubbed, based on feedback that we have received.

It was well worth getting these Blu-Rays.  This new version looks positively stunning.

In this episode, Eriko finds a ray of hope against all the abuse the scandal has caused.  This ray of hope is a girl in the hospital who is a huge fan of Eriko's singing.

In this episode, which is the first episode of a three-part arc, Eriko goes to Guam to shoot a promotional video.

In this episode, Kousuke's plan was revealed as Eriko attempts to perform in the middle of chaos.  If it weren't for Rei, Eriko might have been maimed or killed.
